The gap
Network operators publish coverage maps that suggest a building is connected. But prediction models cannot account for every wall, window, floor, and construction material. The result is a gap between what the map promises and what people actually experience indoors.
Outdoor macro-cell predictions extrapolated to the building envelope. The map says "covered."
Room-level measurements inside the same building. Guest rooms, meeting rooms, basements: the experience varies.
All figures are illustrative. Actual results depend on building materials, operator, and floor.
Raw data is not evidence
Collecting signal readings is the first step. Validating, structuring, and presenting them as room-level evidence for decision-makers is the job.
Collect real-world observations across every room and floor. RSRP, download, upload, network state, carrier, spatial position.
Validate completeness and flag anomalies. A measurement without context is noise, not evidence.
Build structured, spatial results: coverage vs. experience, floor by floor, room by room. Ready for executive decision-making.
How it works
A lightweight SDK on occupant devices passively records signal strength, carrier identity, and connection state. No speed tests. No user action. Under 1% battery impact.
Measured reality is compared against each operator's published coverage claims for that location. The gap between promise and experience is calculated per operator, per floor.
The Delta Index scores every building from A (coverage matches claims) to F (significant shortfall). Auditable, timestamped, exportable as PDF and JSON.
What you get
A signed evidence report for every building. Each mobile operator scored independently, floor by floor, against their own coverage claims. Letter grades from A to F, with the raw data behind every score.
PDF for contract negotiations and board reporting. JSON for integration with existing facilities management and audit systems. Every measurement timestamped, carrier-attributed, and anonymised.
Who this is for
Hotels, hospitals, universities, commercial property. Independent evidence of what mobile coverage your occupants actually receive, formatted for SLA negotiations and contract renewals.
Independent QoS evidence sourced from citizens, not operators. Aligned to ITU-T E.812 and the BEREC Crowdsourced QoS Framework. PDF and JSON formatted for enforcement and licensing review.
The first operator to publish verified Delta Index scores signals confidence in its own network. In a market where every competitor claims the same coverage, measured proof is a competitive advantage.

Why trust it
MAPFIX® measures what occupants experience. WiredScore certifies what landlords build. Complementary, not competitive.
Future vision
Every building has an energy rating. None has a mobile connectivity rating. MAPFIX® is designed to create the missing standard.
Phase 1: Cellular QoS. Phase 2: Wi-Fi QoS. Phase 3: Any infrastructure SLA.
Platform
MAPFIX® is designed to provide objective data to help organisations evaluate mobile network performance. Concrete evidence to verify SLA adherence and negotiate improved contracts.
Built for your sector
A connectivity gap costs bookings on Booking.com. MAPFIX® is designed to record coverage floor by floor, giving asset managers evidence to work with operators.
Connectivity failures in clinical settings pose serious operational risks. MAPFIX® is designed to transform dead zones into timestamped, auditable records.
Smart building technology and lease agreements need independent network validation. MAPFIX® is designed to evaluate all local mobile networks before occupancy.
Students depend on campus connectivity for safety and engagement. MAPFIX® is designed to provide building-specific network quality insights for estates managers.
Banks rely on connectivity for POS terminals, mobile banking, and real-time fraud detection. MAPFIX® is designed to provide branch-specific passive measurement data.
Evidence-based procurement for public services. MAPFIX® is designed to provide independent, auditable QoS evidence across all government sites.
Packages
30-day passive measurement across all four UK mobile operators. Signed PDF evidence report with building grades, Delta comparison, and JSON export.
Based on site capacity
Before selecting an MNO or installing IoT SIMs, MAPFIX® tests all operators on-site and ranks them by measured performance.
Based on site scope
Ongoing passive measurement with quarterly reports and real-time degradation alerts. Tracks whether your MNO maintains the SLA.
Based on site capacity
Centralised dashboard ranking all sites by network quality. For estates teams managing hotel chains, hospital trusts, or university estates.

Evidence map
Operators claim coverage. Citizens report failure. The delta is the product. 170 countries. 500+ licensed operators.
170 countries · 500+ operators · Delta Index · PDF report generation · Operator and regulator views
All figures are illustrative sample data. Live engagements produce jurisdiction-specific calculations under signed agreement.
Technology
A citizen in a dead zone cannot report being in a dead zone, because reporting requires the connectivity that is absent. Every speed test, every crowdsourced platform, every operator tool depends on an active connection. Without it, no measurement occurs. The dead zone is invisible.
MAPFIX® is designed to solve this. Offline-first by architecture.
The 3 AM Proof
At 3:00 a.m., your phone rests on the nightstand. Your operator's network disconnects. At 5:12 a.m., it reconnects. You wake at 7:00 and never know.
But MAPFIX® recorded it.
Timestamped. Carrier-attributed. Anonymised. No drive test was active. No speed test was running. No one was awake. The evidence exists because the operating system issued a callback, logged by the SDK. This is verified nocturnal outage documentation. No other methodology can produce it.
Measurement density
100:1
200-occupant building over 30 days. Each device samples ~8 times per day.
Validation
Every event undergoes nine validation gates before contributing to any published indicator.
Aligned with ITU-T E.812 and the BEREC Crowdsourced QoS Framework.

Invest
MAPFIX® is raising £250,000 under SEIS at a £2.0M pre-money valuation (11.1% equity, ordinary shares). HMRC SEIS Advance Assurance secured. MVP delivered. Digital Catapult NDA signed.
Traction
Investment in early-stage companies involves significant risk. SEIS relief depends on individual circumstances. This is not a financial promotion.
Comparable exit
In March 2026, Meter acquired WiredScore, which certifies broadband infrastructure landlords build. MAPFIX® measures what the operator delivers through that infrastructure. The market for building connectivity verification is valued in the billions. MAPFIX® is designed to occupy the complementary position WiredScore does not cover.
For regulators
MAPFIX® is designed to provide national telecommunications authorities with an independent corroborating infrastructure layer. Auditable evidence aligned to ITU-T E.812 and the BEREC Crowdsourced QoS Framework, at sub-kilometre resolution.
Active engagement with 10 regulators: NCC Nigeria, NCA Ghana, ART Cameroon, ARCEP Burkina Faso, ARCEP Chad, ARCEP Gabon, ARTP Senegal, ARTCI Ivory Coast, AMRTP Mali, and Ofcom UK.
About
MAPFIX® is not a speed test. It is not a consumer complaint app. It is being built as the independent corroborating layer designed to document the gap between what mobile operators claim and what citizens experience, offline-first, in the places where other tools cannot operate.
The founder
I spent several years working in hospitality, where a single bad review can damage a brand permanently. When a guest had a poor experience, we offered an extra night or a 20 to 40 per cent refund, because protecting the brand was worth more than winning the argument.
Then I would leave work, get on a train, and spend an hour commuting with no mobile signal. At the end of the month, the bill arrived in full. No apology. No adjustment.
In Cameroon, where I grew up, the situation is worse. The gap between what operators claim and what people actually receive is wider, and the tools to prove it do not exist.
I am British and Cameroonian. That is not a biographical detail. It is the reason MAPFIX® will succeed where Western platforms have failed. I do not need a cultural liaison to speak to ART Cameroon. I do not need a translator in Douala. I grew up in the connectivity gap. I am building the evidence from inside it.
That contrast, between an industry that compensates every failure and an industry that ignores them, is where MAPFIX® came from.
